Babies Are Not Pizzas: They’re Born Not Delivered! by Rebecca Dekker

This one is wonderful if you are planning a hospital birth or want to learn more about hospital birth. Rebecca Dekker is such an amazing writer and you will learn so much from her story about why childbirth is the way that it is.

Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth by Ina May

This is a classic and though it is old- birth never changes! A portion of this book is natural positive birth stories so I definitely recommend this one if you are leaning towards a natural birth or home birth. Lots of great information on the entire process of labor and birth.

The Gift of Giving Life: Rediscovering the Divine Nature of Pregnancy and Birth by Ripley, Austin, Axman, Farrell, Callister, Allgood

I love this one for Chrisian moms- especially those that are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! This is a compilation of many stories from a few different writers and is based on the spiritual aspect of birth- and the fact that God created your body to birth your babies.
