You Are in Charge of Your Birth

You want to birth your baby at home and you know all the risks and benefits? Awesome. Go for it!

You want to schedule a cesarean for personal reasons and know all the risks and benefits? Great. Do it!

You want to decline the pitocin your doctor is suggesting and you know all the risks and benefits? No problem. Do that!

You want to schedule an induction for convenience and you know all the risks and benefits? Wonderful. Do it!

If you have a provider that feels they are the one in charge of your birth- Advocate for your birthing rights or go find another one! You should be able to find someone to take your money and do what you want. 

Your birth is one of the most important experiences in your life that you will likely remember forever! Do the work to gain knowledge (important to look at evidence based research!) about your options and then DO WHAT YOU WANT TO DO!
